We collect data:

  • Directly from you when you register, update your profile, create or view listings, or make payments.

  • Automatically through analytics and tracking tools when you use the App.

All core personal information is submitted manually by the user unless stated otherwise.

  1. Enable core App functionality (listing rooms, searching, messaging).

  2. Verify work email for restricted access to ensure only working professionals join.

  3. Process payments for subscriptions and other paid features.

  4. Provide customer support and respond to queries.

  6. Personalize content and show relevant listings.

  7. Enhance app security and prevent fraud.

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as required to comply with legal obligations. Upon deletion of your account, personal data will be removed within 30 days, except where retention is legally required.

FlatmatesCo is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we become aware that data from a minor has been collected, we will delete it immediately.

 

11. Regional Availability

The App is currently available only in India.

Listings, photos, and other content posted by users are the sole responsibility of the user who submitted them. We do not endorse or guarantee the accuracy of user content. We reserve the right to remove or disable access to any content that violates our Terms of Service or applicable laws.

 

17. Breach Notification

In the unlikely event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as soon as reasonably possible and in accordance with applicable laws.

 

18. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Any changes will be posted within the App or on our website with the updated effective date.
